COVID-19 and Visitor Policy

Franciscan Shore is currently open to the general public and fully vaccinated visitors do not need to wear masks. Fully vaccinated means having received the primary series and most recent booster (from 09/2022 or later). See below for information from the CDC on when updated vaccinations became available:

  • September 2, 2022, for people aged 12 years and older
  • October 12, 2022, for people aged 5–11 years
  • December 9, 2022, for children aged 6 months–5 years who completed the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine primary series and for children aged 6 months–4 years who got 2 doses of the original Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine
  • March 17, 2023, for children aged 6 months–4 years who completed their 3-dose primary series with the original Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine

If you wish to visit a resident, please call their number directly.

No one may enter Franciscan Shore if they have any symptoms of COVID or feel unwell. Any visitors with a recent positive COVID test or other respiratory illness should not visit until after day 5 quarantine and must wear a mask until the 10th day.
